I'm always up for Talking Heads, they're probably my number one favorite. Recently I've been sort of obsessed with The Supremes, Serge Gainsbourg, and Jesus & Mary Chain. Last month it was Manchester madness - The Fall, Joy Division blah blah blah.

You might want to get hold of this if you've not read it...

Very very detailed, in fact I think it's about 900 pages long. The stuff about the early Mary Chain gigs were my favourite bits.

Incidentally what was the Ye Ye book you bought?

The American Analog Set are indie rock and post-rock. Check them out! Start with Promise Of Love. They aren't overly-romantic despite title.

Im still into Jay Reatard but now i switched bands and im listening to his 'Blood vision' album (i had this album on repeat yesterday while i cleaned my house)

it's a great punk album and if im not mistaken he recorded everything by himself, the drums, the guitars, everything.

Dude was a talented musician, may he Rest in peace.

take no personal offence but that was a little bland for my taste, it sounded pretty decent but that's about it.

do they have anything more energetic?
