"Strangers in the Night" will always be my favourite, however.

Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood = purrrrrfection! "Dying was the baby's way of telling me he wasn't coming down from Dover" and of course Nancy sang one of the best Bond theme songs |

Great album! I went on a CP bender about a month ago when I was in electro swing mode. My nephew was the one who introduced me to them a couple years back; Auntie C so proud

However... I'm really enjoying this electro swing group. Slightly darker, like Circus Contraptions, but less cabaret. The songs are centered more around the music than the lyrics, which suits me just fine (at least insofar as electro swing is concerned). They definitely take some risks, as far as this genre usually goes, while still remaining enjoyable. Diablo swing orchestra, "Pandora's Piñata" (I posted the whole album, mostly to remind myself to listen to it later lol, so feel free to tune out after the first song if you suffer from commitment phobia): I also like Parov Stelar, his stuff has more of a House sound to it, which usually isn't my thing but I do enjoy his work when I'm in a dancing mood. This song is one of my favorites... |
