I wish there were more acoustic-oriented jam bands that played a lot of aggressive stuff. Sometimes you hear a glimmer of this in Dave Matthews stuff. They're capable of hitting such sinister levels (All along the watch tower, the stone, Halloween, the middle of warehouse, ect.) but they always devolve into this sort of flowery, pleasant jazz-lite movements and I always think...

"Jesus, why can't they just commit to aggression once?"

Heh. I know exactly what you mean. I feel the the same way about "Halloween". It's probably my favorite DMB song until it abruptly turns into cocktail party music.

Literally, I could make this happen. I don have a accordion player, but I've got all the right musicians for the job, with a banjo to make up for the accordion and with some tribal drums added. The key is mind controlling them to do what I want.

Dude, look up some folk punk! I've heard plenty of folk groups with screams and shouting vocals, plus all the typical folk instruments. Im not sure if I've ever heard any jam style band doing it, but it's better than nothing.

I know a couple of folk punk (celtic punk) bands, but I get the impression that you know something EVEN more aggressive than The Pogues and stuff. If you know some folk or folk-like bands with hardcore aggression and vocal style, please, please tell me
