Default what music video was this?

I was trying to remember a song I really liked from about 3 years back (song could be older), in order to share it with friends.

I cannot for the life of me remember a word of the lyrics nor the artist. I do, however, remember in some detail the corresponding music video.

Hoping one of you might recall it.

The music video was of a sepia or black and white tone, mimicking a silent film out of the 1920s, including the fashions worn.
The theme was kind of a 'game of life' and love, with the male and female characters walking down roads with wooden street signs labeled 'love' or 'marriage' or 'affair' or some things like that, as the men and women play the game of love to find a longterm mate.

Sadly, such a description is woefully ungooglable.
I'm hoping that someone here can from my inadequate description, remember what music video I'm remembering pieces of and point me in the right direction.

thanks!!

Do you remember what style of music it was? If it had a male or female singer?

male singer.

costumes were from the 1920s; women were dressed as flappers.

gods... I am musically illiterate. Just discovering music later in life (I'm 25-- most people start listening to music at maybe 10 I feel. It's intimidating to know 5 bands and 2 categories when all your friends have 10,000 song albums on their ipods).

I can tell you it wasn't rap, punk, jazz, folk, or classical.

Whether it was rock, pop, indie, alternative, I can't even tell the difference.

I was hoping I'd find someone with an encyclopedic knowledge of music videos who would go, "aha! I remember just the piece..."
