I like more than a handful of albums on that list, but props for including Rush's Permanent Waves and Wire Pink Flag. No one ever gives Wire credit anymore

Man, I LOVE me some VU, but its as if no one cares about any of their albums besides "VU & Nico". I think "White Light White Heat" and "Loaded" are both better albums.

loaded is overrated to me. WLWH is a good album but i do prefer the cliched VU&N. and yes adidasss- they were a hugely influential band. when everyone else in the 60s were singing about flowers, love, peace and weed the VU were singing about heroin addiction, S&M, obsession etc. way ahead of their time.
