It's far from being their best album, and it does contain a few turds, but on the whole it's far from being a turd. I just wish that they made a more focused single album than a sprawling and patience-testing double album. But when it gets good it gets good.

Maybe if I had heard some of those albums before I heard MCIS I would agree... but considering it is one of the albums that developed my taste to the point where I could actually appreciate said albums, it remains in a top spot.

And I have never understood the appeal of The Fall.
