The Art of Music - anyone else dabble?
Does anyone else dabble in music-based art or posters?
I recently pulled together a long-held design idea based around the heroes of American Music. I must admit it is a little biaised towards my personal taste ...unlucky Britney ;-) https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1281...imited-edition |

Where possible I've located bands/artists as close as possible to their "spiritual home" ;-)
With the huge amount of important artists from areas such as New York and California it's been a bit of a challenge and some compromises had to be made in the interest of the overall look & feel of the design. I started off placing the biggest artists (IMHO) in the correct spot and then worked around them. I hope I'm not judged too harshly and that I haven't flung too many people's favourite bands to odd locations :-) |

I fully recognise that there'll be a few bands a little out of place geographically but that's a conscious design decision. Any feedback on the design in general? Anything I could do to improve it? (other than shift around the location of a band or two) |

To give an example, I drew and painted these while listening to this song. Erik Satie - Gnossienne No.1 - YouTube
