Hello, I came here for help w/ Violin Music.

My name is Colt, and I'm here because my mother has a friend who is now dying of cancer, and this said person used to play the violin, so she and I got to thinking of getting her a CD of music with a solo violin player or music that features the violin in it... but neither my mom or I are musical people. I figured I could come here for advice on this? Does anyone have any recommendations we could look into?

yann tiersen has some music with violin in it, but its mostly piano.

but its very uplifting and emotive.
