Voices from age 0 - 20 bother me at times despite the supporting/background music being fine for example young Michael Jackson or Jo Jo. They sound like squirrels. Some adult artists have this at times so it must have a lot do with size and thinness.
Elevator music is wonderful, if not music's form of comedy bc it is mimicry and it takes the drama out. These sounds are needed to balance in songs. . . but as an entire song it is funny and even enjoyable. I was asked to make elevator music once bc I play-by-ear any popular song on a keyboard, including the bass so it has complexity. |

No, bc I like it, haha and that is off the topic of the thread but some department stores play it. It is like doing a cover song w/ a piano or flute, except softer and cheery, without voices, and always instrumental. I have noticed a few Asian Restaurants have CDs like this playing in the background of well-known American hits.
