second, idk why ppl are focusing in how i write instead of the subject of the thread even if i expressed my point poorly the subject of the thread is pretty obvious it was hard for me to explain cause the 2 go hand in hand but some ppl focus in ONE more than the other i should said that in the OP

It's kind of close for me, but I prefer quality over quantity. The problem that I'm finding when listening to new artists is that most of them seem to have very short careers and break up after just a couple of releases.
When I think of the bands that I listened to when I was younger (and still listen to), they were usually ones that evolved over the course of their careers AND sustained it for at least a couple of decades: mostly guitar-heavy ones like Led Zeppelin, Rush, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, Iron Maiden, Racer X, Aerosmith, Dixie Dregs/Dregs, etc. |

I buy A LOT of albums on the regular, but it's not because I just love having TONS of music, it's because I'm looking for QUALITY music. Often times, you'll come across an album that isn't critically acclaimed or even popular that you love for whatever multitude of reasons. I'm pretty sure I'm a "quality" guy, but yeah this thread is a bit confusing.
I like quality albums in a large quantity. |
