I only know a handful of music from this time period """So post some"""" so we can all discover a know about dis time period ...!!!!!!!!!!!

Gene Austin - My Melancholy Baby (1927) - YouTube other mentions like Aileen Stanley Frank Crumit Fred MacMurray with Gus Arnheim's Coconut Grove Orchestra just post some good music why does no one talk about music in 1910 did they even have a way to put it on wax back then ...???? when were vinyls invented |

If you don't hear a lot of conversation about the music of this era it would likely mean that you're neither into the Jazz or Classical music that prevailed in that time. The 20's are widely considered the golden age of Jazz. If you'd like to learn more about the music of that time, this would likely be helpful and informative.

Gershwin's always a winner for this era. The chanting was probably a part of the creole flavor, it's a part of the New Orleans/generally-Louisiana culture which has a lot of haunting and ritual associated with it, as well as the mistiness of the swampland being a possible inspiration for such spooky sounds.
