Basically I came up with an idea that was initially for comedians. When I mentioned it on a comedy forum and other forums people seemed to think it would be a good idea. I was just wondering, do you think it would be a good idea for musicians? And also is there somewhere in the UK that already offers this service for musicians?

The idea is this. Hopeful musicians will register on the website, showing information about themselves including, there musical experience, the dates they are available to perform, a video of them performing. As well as the locations that they are available to perform in.

Clubs will then visit the website, search for the dates they need, and type in where there venue is located. A list will then appear with the musicians who are able to travel to the venue as well as perform on that day. With the most suitable appearing first. If the club is interested we will then contact the musician asking for permission to give there information to the club.

Clubs will also be able to advertise gigs on the website. They will state the date, and the venue. Musicians will then search for clubs near by, and the date that they can perform. The contact information of the comedy club will appear, and the comedian will be able to apply.
