There's a saying I heard that I think applies to this.
The reason that clichés are cliché is because a lot of the times they're true. A lot of the stuff you listed I feel the same way about. I formed some of those opinions you listed long before I came on the internet and knew anybody else felt that way. I think this whole 'wanting to look cool with an opinion' thing is overstated.
