Smile Any books, web pages or Documentaries on Backup Bands

Hellooo

I've recently taken an interest in the roles of backing bands and wondered if anybody on here knew of any books, web pages or Documentaries on them. I've only really found websites that have like a top 10 list of backing bands but, i'm more interested in finding research that is based more on the bands themselves and how they support different artists.

Cheers

Opening bands aren't, for the vast majority of the time anyway, trying to support the headline act, they're attempting to BECOME a headline act.
