Stefano Langone
Black Bird White Sky
Jay+Tonic (the one I posted about)
Avicii (I know he's pretty mainstream, but the new stuff is really interesting if you like EDM or electro-pop at all)
I kinda like Black Bird White Sky. The others I haven't heard of.

Woah, you know them? Major respect being earned right now because they are a small local group!

Avicii's the only artist of that list with top 40 hits...the others are more obscure.

At the risk of losing your respect ( though that doesn't seem to be much around here-- that's a total joke), they were a recommended artist on spotify and I don't really know them. I couldn't name a song, except for the one I just played, but I remember liking it.

Haha hey, that's still pretty cool. They only have like 1,000 facebook fans (an arbitrary measure of popularity) so it's pretty random that you stumbled upon them!

Hah, even I didn't fall for that!! Rookie mistake. Like he says, Urban is an equal opportunities Hatemonger: he doesn't respect anyone. And that's why we all respect him.

OP: Glad I could help. You'll find I'm the soft touch around here, but remember the immortal words of Edmund Blackadder: Play fair by me and you'll find me a considerate man, but cross me and you'll discover that underneath this playful, boyish exterior beats the heart of a ruthless, sadistic maniac!

I also agree Trollheart would be an asset to MB as a Mod for sure.

And I personally believe that ZerO should be considered as eventually becoming a Mod also.

But who am I to say, Im not here that much anymore except for maybe a few months out of the year (for the last couple of years or so especially). All of the Mods (past & present) have always been outstanding here at MB since Ive been a member here, in my opinion anyway.

Yup, taking notes.

This is the usual mix of bullying, unwarranted moderator praise, and a few voices of dissent. It's also not the first thread where a member complains of having been unfairly banned.

But the core issue is, What did he do wrong? The rules do not specifically forbid posting a link to an artist's page, even if that is the entire message. Although if it's a new thread by a new member or the same artist is mentioned in multiple threads, most likely it's spam. Was just one message in "What music are you listening to right now" deleted? Isn't links-only common in that thread? Anyone with good sense realizes it's discussions like this one has been so far that have severely hurt the forum's atmosphere and people's willingness to post.

The issue been resolved with the person in question and no one has even posted in this thread for several days. Resurrecting it for the sake of adding your own drama is completely unnecessary.
