Across the Rubicon - 5
Neurosis - 2 The first time I like both covers for everything in these matches, so there are no minor negative points as to why one won over the other this time. Elegy's cover has the setting that would also grace a Classical album sleeve as well. Same goes for Der Blutharsch's cover as well, making it also win over Neurosis if that would have been the match. As for the cover to Given to the Rising, it has a power with a striking image with the distinctive logo, but when set along with some other covers, it kind of lacks a little something even if it is a great cover when put in this type of setting. |

I prefer the typeface on Neurosis. That being said, I've always enjoyed the epic realism of Greek and Roman statues. Combine that with the color scheme on Across the Rubicon and the choice is easy for me.

really for the most part it is a "classical" album....more neo-classical/martial industrial....i could see the songs on this album being nominated for an academy award if placed in the right film
