And c'mon, just cause prince can play a ton of instruments it doesn't make him better than MJ, i saw 'This is it' and saw MJ as a white zombie girl all worn out still trying to pull of being MJ, and he was involved in the musical arrangements of the song, telling the guitarist what to do in some parts but also encouraging their own input.

Do ppl forget MJ has been in the music business ever since he was kid!?

He knows about music, aight? it's no fluke he was the king of pop!
So why does prince get more musician's cred than Mj? cause he can play more instruments than Mj? that's bullsh*t cause even if he does, MJ made better songs that had more of an impact in society than Prince.

Prince did not write all his songs or played every single instrument in ALL his songs.

I've been writing songs since I was a kid, does that mean I'm the best too?!?!?

Damn, I can only play two. But apparently that doesn't matter so I'm officially an equal musician to Prince. Hell yeah!!

lol

it does matter to some extent but it's not the defining factor that makes you a good musician.

And that's the whole point man, it's not how many instruments you can play but rather how many ppl liked your songs and the influence your musical career has had on the music industry and pop culture.

"How many people liked your songs"?

So does that mean Celine Dion is like the sixth or seventh greatest artist of all-time?

Well, I'll tell you one thing, The Colour of My Love really gets my tearducts working, know what I'm sayin'?

Dude it makes more sense to me to measure them by achievements rather than how many instruments they can play.

I would say Prince, YES it's arguably a better musician than MJ because he mastered a couple of instruments, but Mj though not a strong musician as prince is a better entertainer.

And the thing is MJ knew how to arrange songs just like prince, they both had that knowledge

Michael Jackson also gave us at least a decade of pedophilia and 'black boy turned white woman' jokes to laugh about. So for that, I thank him.
