Duquesne Whistle video - did I imagine it?
I seem to recall that last year I saw a video of Bob Dylan in a white suit with a small band behind him in a lounge-like atmosphere singing "Duquesne Whistle", but try as I might I can't find such a video nor even any reference to it. There is a video associated with the song, but it is completely different. Does anyone recall such a video, or is there some way of determining if it ever existed, vs my having lost my marbles?

I never noticed any video except for the one with the guy hopelessly in love with the girl who freaks out, etc. It would be interesting if there was another, but are you sure you didn't just have a nice dream? I know I've dreamt about Dylan a few times.

I'm not denying that, but haven't you had dreams about your "heroes" sometimes? I've met Bob Dylan and especially James Hetfield (along with random Metallica members) so many times in my dreams it's rather ridiculous, though it's been a good while now. For some reason, I can't remember ever meeting anyone in The Beatles in my dreams, that is something I'll have to remedy.
I once dreamt I had to fill in for Brian May in Queen, it was a disaster. |
