I like a lot of Cooper songs, including this, but considering the over dramatics and the cheesy Synth, this clearly is one of those Early 80's songs one either loves or hates. Written by Leo "Mission Impossible" Schifrin and Gary Osborne for the film Class of 1984, it's a perfect fit for the film. Alice already proved himself to be The Future back in The 70's, but sadly the film itself predicted a hell of a lot for the next decade and beyond concerning attitudes and even metal detectors. The film, Directed by Mark Lester, is a good piece of Punkspoitation, and yes that is a young Michael J Fox from the film to the right in the You Tube screencap you see. It's a cheesy song, but with some bite thanks to Alice's delivery. No explanation necessary! Last edited by Screen13; 09-22-2013 at 05:37 PM. |
