Is it just me or is this thread dumb? Maybe people aren't "rebelling" by listening to dubstep or house or whatever the hell, maybe they just want to listen to it.
Maybe this is some teenage drama stuff I don't understand.

Dubstep can be good, most is terrible. You have to do a lot of searching to find good stuff. It's a pretty limited genre though imo.
I don't know about rebelling as the OP words it but I do think some people who listen to Dubstep don't actually like it or the music itself, they just say they do as it's the in thing and they like to be associated with it. |

i agree actually, Nirvana has suddenly become popular again with house and dubstep. I still go to school and all of the people who 'hate' pop listen to it. It's gotten to the point where people start thinking Guns N Roses and Nirvana were clothing lines -.-
