The Grammys did not start off very well. Goodness.
So many people were out of tune with their bands! What was going on?

Gunnels, fun. was super out of tune. Not happy.

The whole "what is eligible" criteria for the Grammys is just weird. The Record of the year in 2013 was released in 2011.

And if I remember correctly, the Robert Plant/Alison Krauss album that was released in 2007 won for Best Album in 2009...

I don't support the Grammys, and I agree it doesn't present the best music, but nonetheless, I thought jack white killed it. Epic performance, such energy.

Surprisingly, i thought Kelly clarkson was good with her Carole king tribute.

Best moment of the night for me would have to be the Levon helm tribute. It was great to see everyone having a good Time while playing the music of The Band and paying their respects to the late great Levon Helm. Who knows how many people out there said, "Levon who?" It would have been nice to see Robbie and Garth come together for it.

I blame the Grammy sound crew then. They were perfect when I saw them back on '10. =\
Still, gonna look it up when it leaks onto youtube.

I agree...best performance of the night. They did a great tribute to Levon at the Americana/Roots Music Awards show too...and the same song. I was hoping they'd do 'The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down' but I guess 'The Weight' is more suitable for layered ensemble vocals.

The 2nd best thing about the Grammys tonight was Taylor Swifts' legs.

3rd Jack White's performance. He definitely kicked ass.

And what the hell was that Forest Gump song? I thought Taylor Swifts song was the silliest song of the night until that one showed up.

Yeah I don't know, there was definitely something wrong.
Miranda lambert and the dude she was with were not perfect.
Elton John was a little off.
Fun. was DEFINITELY not on spot.

I would blame it on the sound crew too, because there's no way that many artists messed up so badly.

Eventually, though, something happened because then a lot of the artists were spot-on.

Except Frank Ocean. No one knows what the hell he was doing.

Sound crew definitely had to be off. I thought everything sounded off until the black keys. I don't mean the artists themselves sounded bad, just the sound quality.

Really? I didn't think it sounded that horrible for THAT long, but the Black Keys were definitely great.

I like how Bruno Mars performed with Sting considering his new song sounds exactly like The Police. When I first heard it I assumed it was actually an obscure Police classic. So I'm glad they're acknowledging that.
