Depeche Mode - Heaven

I am a really big fan of Depeche Mode, but their latest song "Heaven" isn't good in my opinion. Maybe i'm just expecting too much from them.

Hope fully the rest of the new album is much better than this.

I have not listened to a DM album since 101. Besides the few singles on Violator I can't even recall a Mode album. I will have to check out the new single and get back to the thread. I wouldn't say I grew away from listening to them, but they really haven't created anything innovative in quite awhile so I don't hold out hope the new album will be a revelation of any type.

Nothing inspiring like Everything Counts or But not Tonight, but worth a listen.

i didn't grow with them too. only after i got into high school i actually listened to more than the 2-3 songs i heard on TV. that's when i found their sound to be really good. (maturing my tastes? ^_^ )

listening to it now....actually i really like the kind of sleazy blues aspect....looking forward to the new album and with high hopes a chance to see them live again

like Fred said this is nothing compared to their early stuff....they really did peak with Violator....but i've enjoyed every album after....i think this one will be up there
