just asking for some friendly advice

If you're asking how to be discovered, then anyone who can tell you that is already richer than Bill Gates!

Basically, I would think there are the YouTubes and the Soundclouds, but the chances in reality of you hitting it big through those media are pretty low. The old maxim applies: gig gig and gig again. Oh yeah, and gig. Get your music heard as many places and by as many people as possible, and in the end remember it's all a roll of the dice. Some day an A&R man may be in the crowd or the word may go out and he/she will come down to check you out. But there's no easy path, and success is never guaranteed. It's a hard slog, with often very little or no reward at the end.

Hey, it's just how life is. If it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing, would it?
