Kurt Cobain had a heroin problem too. That has nothing to do with their music but. Still Queen were pretty meaningless.

I was talking about Kurt Cobain, I didn't realise Freddie had one as well:)

Are you mad, all the best bands were doped up to their eyeballs!

Me neither. I know nothing about Queen except their cringe worthy music and Freddie dying from aids.

I wouldn't go so far as to say music existed because of drugs. Production takes a lot of time and effort. Perhaps the ideas coming from the effects of drugs, but it's more to do with the actual individual.

I think Grohl has established himself as a pretty great Pop-Rock (in a loose sense of the term) songwriter though, just speaking to the quality of musicians in Nirvana.

Smells like teen spirit is such a teen-angst anthem.

I'm not an angsty teen anymore.

Do you like Dinosaur Jr. at all?

My friend said once siad to me "if you got a blood transfusion from Steve Howe you would be high for the rest of your life."

I think Steve Howe and Jon Anderson must've been so high, when they composed most of Yes's material back in the 1970s.

I love Queen! Not cringe worthy to me :)

Actually Queen made very good music. Listen to Bite the Dust. Freddie Mercury was a great singer. Many rock singers don't have the swag that Mercury had.

Bite the Dust good music...

 That's not even the actual title lol. He got that one wrong. It's probably one of my least favourite Queen songs though.
