Default Grammy Awards 2012

Let's have a thread! The nominees were released last night, and the ballot offers for some interesting discussion. So whether you find this to be the most or least important night in music - what're your thoughts?

At least Frank Ocean is bound to win something.

Lol, there's not enough 'avant garde doom noise rock' in it for you guys obviously.
Channel ORANGE is superb. Not boring at all.

I'm pretty sure I didn't get it expecting "avant garde doom noise rock".

I hope he wins and performs a tribute to his dad.
I loved 'Get out of my dreams and into my car.'

That orange album didn't do anything for me. Can't even remember much of it apart from that.

Billy Ocean's his dad? I never thought about it. Or maybe you're kidding.

I listened to that album once a while back. Wasn't bad, but R&B's not my thing anyway. However, I could see it growing on me with more listens. It's not like I was listening to R. Kelly or Luther Vandros or something. I would never do that.

Also, I don't give a good goddamn about the Grammys, never have. I'm not sure why I entered this thread.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
