As much for personal reference as anything else, I have highlighted blue albums I have heard from this list. Green albums I have in my collection and have not yet got round to listening to and red albums I am interested in obtaining/anticipating. It becomes apparent that I have a serious back load to work my way through and it excites me that there is an abundance of potentially great music out there for me to listen to. Obviously, if anyone is in need of obtaining any of the green/blue albums, I can help you out. My inbox is monitored regularly. Of the albums I have listened to (blue) here's my ranking of them. 7. The Knife - Shaking The Hibitual 6. David Bowie - The Next Day 5. My Bloody Valentine - MBV 4. Foals - Holy Fire 3. Comadre - Comadre 2. Sadistick - Flowers for my Father 1. Justin Timberlake - 20/20 Experience Other albums not on the original list but well worth a look in; This Town Needs Guns - 13.0.0.0.0 Flux Pavilion - Blow the Roof The Strokes - Comedown Machine Thanks for reading. |

Glad you really enjoyed that Sadistik album. I was really into it for about 3 weeks, but for whatever reason I haven't revisited it. It's funny though, we have a few overlap albums that are still "pending" as it were, chief among them is the new Kvelertak, which I've just had no desire to listen to yet. I think it's because I love their original so much I'm afraid if Meir sucks I'll think less of the band or something. I'm also on a big gothic country kick right now, so new stuff can stack up for awhile while I indulge my favourite niche genre.
I also completely forgot that The Flaming Lips had a new album out. It's funny how the tastes of MB change over the years, if this was 2009 there would be a lot of discussion about it. I also added a new album to the list Rykarda Parasol - Against The Sun It's easy to dismiss her as a Nico knockoff, but I'd say she has more in common with Nick Cave (as her Last.fm profile states). A real flair for telling a story. |
