Don't know if any of you listen to the band "The Maine", but they are recording their fourth album right now which should be released sometime this year!
I am super excited about it, they are one of my all time favourite bands, and I absolutely love the new sound they have evolved! |

Agreed that Antidotes is definitely more upbeat and lively. The songs are tighter and the album is definitely more consistent as a whole than Total Live Forever.
I feel the latter tried to accomplish too much, don't get me wrong there were some top tunes like Miami and Blue Blood, but there were also whiny lagging tracks like Spanish Sahara which was touted as 'endearing' by every indie douchebag out there. Would like to see a more similar album to Antidotes but there was some undeniable quality on show in Total Life Forever. |

Also on April 30th, Marc Ribot's Ceramic Dog will be releasing their new album Your Turn. April 30th is going to be a great day.
