i want to third all the mentions of that damn Len song...it is infectious

the cure for said infection....and one of the most underrated "one hit" bands

Urge Overkill - Sister Havana - YouTube

i mean i guess they gained a little popularity for their addition to the Pulp Fiction soundtrack....but well before that this song was rocking on every "alternative" kids stereo

and still does....actually the entire album is amazing....you should check it out

it is in my personal humble and always correct opinion.....

that lava lamps should be mandatory in every room in the world

and this should be the Earths anthem

Groove Is In The Heart Music Video - YouTube

as payment for saving the world....i will accept a time machine so i can go back to the filming of this video and woo Lady Kier

Montel Jordan - 'This is how we do it'...man I remember in the 90s you couldn't walk into a bar/club without hearing that song already playing AND it would be playing when you left the club.
Urge Overkill - I was unfamiliar with this band and that's what I like is finding new music, so thanks for that!
Groove is in the heart --i mean come on, this has got to be close to the number 1 one hit wonder ever, and yes she was soooo HAWT
Empire of the Sun - Walking on a dream -- Kelli, yet another song I was unaware of, I wouldnt even know what genre that song belongs in. Very nice selection though!
---
Here is a song that most of you might not remember but in high school this was playing on the radio all the time. Very catchy. Maybe corny by today's standards, but I still tap my feet to it.
Are you Jimmy Ray? - Jimmy Ray

JIMMY RAY - ¿ARE YOU JIMMY RAY? - YouTube

Two absolute gems from the heyday. Lady Kier has got that thing I can't quite put my finger on. Someone is gonna run with that i'm sure.

For me there can only be one.

Although I think Living in the Plastic Age was rather catchy also.

I saw Semisonic open for Barenaked Ladies blue moons ago. They are a pretty solid live act. Their drummer can play keyboard and drums at the same time, no joke. And Closing Time has one hell of a melody and i enjoy the lyrics.
