band names...how do they get them?
I just read an article on the Web2Carz website (under their "Lifestyle" tab) that a lot of band names are references to either, a) other bands or b) "offensive" material. (The piece I mentioned hilariously names them). Do we think this is accurate? The piece mentions Peal Jam, Green Day, AC/DC, Minus The Bear, Death Cab For Cutie and others.
Thoughts? |

It's usually just an inside joke or something along those lines.

I think bands should be assigned code numbers instead.
That way you won't have the problem of bands using the names of bands that already exist. I'm really looking forward to DGS67WHDGD32'S new album.

Come on! I heard their second album FFF5566DVDR666, and they ALREADY had that sell out sound when they changed producers! When they had that re-mix of "RTYERTRTY33, $$$" (not so subtle hint there), it was all over for me!
