Default Winter Music

It's raining now, but I can feel the winter lurking around. It's hiding, just waiting for the right time to cover the world in snow.

And as I'm preparing for this to happen, I'm looking for winter music.
What artists/songs/albums do you associate with the winter?

'Kid A' by Radiohead is the first album that comes to mind, in addition to much of James Blake's dicography.
Sinéad O'Connor's cover of "All Apologies" is also a great winter-song.

What does your winter-playlist sound like?

Not much of a winter in San Francisco but Sigur Rós's () really goes well with the raw, bleak cold.

I find that when winter rolls around I listen to a lot of Agalloch. I don't know if it's because they're from the Pacific Northwest, but they really manage to capture the winter aesthetic in their sound and I absolutely love it.

The first song that came to my mind. A great, great song.

I like my winter music ambient

Pretty much anything by Natural Snow Buildings. Their music immediately brings to mind falling snow and white winter landscapes.

Southpacific make some great post-rock with a nice glacial shimmer. Perfect for the middle of winter.
