Videos of Live Musical Performances

I enjoy finding videos of live performances of my favorite songs. However, I recently read that the Beatles' live concert at Shea Stadium in 1965 was taken into the studio afterwards and many of the tracks were overdubbed. How does one know if a video of a live performance has been overdubbed?

For instance, there is a great video of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young performing "Ohio" (Live 2000 Toronto), but is it real?

Is this the concert footage you are refering to? I think it is a fraction of a second out of sync, judging by the drummer hitting the cymbol. Whether they prerecorded thier vocals and lip synced during the concert I don't know. It seems live enough to me.

Thanks. Yes, this is the one. It's a fantastic video, and yes, it seems they are a fraction of a second out of sync. My question is, though, did they take the video to the recording studio after the live performance and dub in new guitar tracks?
