I thought since you like 10cc and Little Feat you might like OMD, or at least this song. They are sorta like cross faded between the two aforementioned bands. This song is more geared to Pop radio of its day, but their other material incorporates Old Timey & Folk. ... and hey, guess what!? They also sing about chickens (i.e. Chicken Train) so that should entice you to check them out! (If you haven't already.)
