Pink Floyd: Goodbye Blue Sky (from album The Wall, 1979). Actually, it can be interpreted in many ways. But now I'd like to choose this one, given by Roger Waters: "it's remembering one's childhood and then getting ready to set off into the rest of one's life" (source here). I think that, this way, song can relate to many people. After all, I guess we all have experienced that feeling described by Waters, sometime. Also, I've just translated another one of my favourite short songs. And since it was made by one of the best non-English-language rock bands ever, I've thought I should post it here. Héroes del Silencio: Tesoro ("Treasure", 1993). "Me empequeñece la altura ................................ Height makes me smaller y no lo puedo evitar. ................................ and I can't help it. Se me atascan las ideas, ................................ My thoughts get stuck, amontonadas ................................ piled up en mi tesoro y me esperan. ................................ in my treasure, and there they wait for me. Ayer teñí ................................ Yesterday I coloured ♫ de color sangre ................................ my dreams mis sueños, ................................ in blood, y no queda nada sagrado ................................ and there's nothing sacred que me divierta ya. ................................ that I can enjoy anymore. Conseguiré esa sonrisa ................................ I will get that smile si la puedo comprar. ................................ if I can pay for it. Será de mis favoritas, ................................ It will be one of my favourite ones, acumuladas ................................ gathered en mi tesoro y me esperan. ................................ in my treasure, and there they wait for me. Ayer teñí ................................ Yesterday I coloured de color sangre ................................ my dreams mis sueños, ................................ in blood, y no queda nada sagrado ................................ and there's nothing sacred que me divierta ya. ................................ that I can enjoy anymore. Ayer teñí ................................ Yesterday I coloured de color sangre ................................ my dreams mis sueños, ................................ in blood, y no queda nada sagrado ................................ and there's nothing sacred que me divierta ya. ................................ that I can enjoy anymore."

I have a huge list, but I'll just go for one for the moment: "Short and Sweet" by Julia Nunes. It's been my go-to breakup song.

The problem with Franco Pepe Kalle is that he is a unpredictable character. There is surprising info about this man. You think he only likes Franco and Pepe Kalle but when you find out that he hears other artists, you are shock. Girls are the sexy thing that God created. Important to notice FPK. |
