Default Need suggestions from those with broad musical listening experience

So I don't like any specific genre of music- but there is something about harmonic minor scale movements that I like a lot. An example I can think of right off the top of my head would be Hotel California. Here are a couple other ones that are less well-known but have this specific mood/musical development
(Excuse me for not being able to hyperlink these as I am still a relatively new member)
Killer-Plain White T's
Everybody talks- Neon Trees (Not really as bittersweet as I like, but has that really subtle musical movement)

I've noticed that a lot of songs that are sad/poignant/bittersweet/angry-thoughtful have this characteristic. If anyone can make suggestions based on the music I described above- I would really appreciate it.

Thanks
