Rolling Stone: 10 Greatest Albums of All Time

I don't think there should be more than one album from each artist. A lot of those albums are great but the list shouldn't be dominated by only a few artists.

True. It's very overrated, indeed. A much better Stones' album is Sticky Fingers.

I voted for Highway 61 - my absolute favorite. But I think that you cannot make a "Greatest albums of all time" list and not include "Thriller" in the top 10. Also their should be The Dark Side of the Moon on the place of some of the 4 Beatles' albums (of course they are the greatest artists ever, but half of the albums in this list are theirs

)

Which is why this list is utter biased crap...

Anyone's list is going to be biased crap when it comes to greatest artists or bands. Only things that are more objective are topics like "most technical" or "most influential".

It pains me to vote against Blonde On Blonde, but I prefer Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
This album should be in the top 10

I'm not too sure about that. An artist can produce more than one great album, but I understand that it doesn't have much variety.

4 Beatles albums? Disagree, but not surprising. The White album and Rubber Soul I would consider, that's it.

Personally Blonde on Blonde > Highway 61 Revisited.

It's the US edition your're referring to. Capitol knew that the EP format never sold well in the US market (They alredy tried a couple back in the Beatlemania), so they just went for the full album format. In my opinion, it was the ONLY time their re-package concept worked as it actualy enhanced the Beatles '67 experience and enlarged the artwork up for the album format.

Yes, I agree that Forever Changes should be in the Top 10. I would have voted for that instead.

A band can definitely have more than a few great albums, but for the sale of an "all time" list, I think it should be a little more diverse.
