You need to listen to No Code and Binaural both classic albums.

This is so sad. The Rolling Stone top 10 list is just as irrelevant as their top 100 list and every other list they come up with. Just a bunch of old hippies who can't let go of the past. I love a lot of these records but there is so much more amazing music out there that RS doesn't even acknowledge. It's like that guy in his 50's who just plays the same Styx and REO records over and over again in his car because they remind him of high school. No wonder RS is completely irrelevant and has been for a loooooong time.

Binaural is awesome! I've probably asked you this already, but what's your top 3 PJ albums?

Apparently a lot based on Rolling Stone's selections.

i was unaware that every nation/creed/colour/religion had to be equally represented on a list concerned with musical skill? that's truly a pathetic complaint. All of the bands on the list are either British or American...and yet no one raises the complaint that the white peoples of most of Europe/Australia/New Zealand/Canada/South Africa etc aren't represented?

Black music like blues, soul, funk, jazz, ska, reggae and many others were hugely influential in the direction popular music took.

Just out of interest name 20 South African bands that have had worldwide success.
