Its called bringing a bit of humour back into the thread.

No, they actually do more sheep shagging in Wales, it helps keep them warm.

It's the internet. It doesn't count as a situation.

I voted for London Calling in the spirit of this thread. It was the album that broke me away from a lot of what I was listening to as a kid, and inspired me to look even further. It may not be my all-time favorite, and that changes with almost every month, but back then it was that time and moment when the new was interesting to me as a music listener and someone who was learning how to play an instrument. Yeah, there was some filler over the course of two slabs of vinyl, but the powerful moments certainly carried a lot of spark for me.

Well, it helped to prevent a potential massacre.

I love how these lists always have The White Album on them which is basically half an album full of shit that doesn't work yet they always seem to leave out Zappa's Freak Out which works a hell of a lot better as a double album.

Even if you do find it boring you're paying nothing more than the price of a single album for it so why not get it?

There must be at least 10 songs you'd like on it.

Simple fundamentals? Hmm. You must not know their music very well. They did a lot more than simple fundamentals. Ever hear the song "happiness is a warm gun"?

If the issue is that The Beatles are so over exposed and "run into the ground" by fans why isn't Mick Jagger targeted? The man is a self confessed sell out and the sheer amount of recycled crappy compilations that the Stones release every year makes them far more over exposed. their logo has become a cheap image to tack onto t-shirts but apparently the Beatles are the ones we should all be angry at?
Well put. Don't quite understand why The Beatles get so much more flak than The Stones.
