Why not Madonna? She's the best selling female artist of all time. Doesn't that make her better than those lightweights?

No offence Newguy, but's a pretty weak argument you've mustered so far regarding your personal opinion of the Beatles. When you said 'the greatest group to ever do music' it doesn't exactly read as a personal, sincere statement. It's sounds rather hackneyed, like you're trying to convince yourself of this, rather than others.

wow can't believe you compared the two..
maybe you should check out some of the beatles songs someday it's a miracle you don't know their work.

lol really? it's just my opinion ..then again when i was a child i was forced to listen to the beatles i didn't have any other choice lol

In my opinion they both have some amazing highs and amazing lows but my preferences on your choices are:
