Another thing I like is when a band can back up their music live. Green Day, for example, sound my h better live in my opinion, especially the singer.

What makes a great band is a band that stays to itself and does not copy too much from other bands. They are bands that are able to stick to their roots. They are a band that have a sound and they are able to advance and make it known. A great band is a band that is able to have a great melody. That is a great band if you ask me.
