why not... though I think even though it is about a child, it is also directed at adults. Being that it is a song about lost childhood and innocence. Shame the song is more associated with pot... but that is just people attaching their own meaning to it. To think they have made it into that is more heartbreaking than what the song actually means in some ways. Sigh.

Burl Ives - 'Little White Duck' - great collection of children's folk songs with one stand-out track: "Buckeye Jim" - a lilting lullaby filled with surreal imagery. I don't know what it's about but it gets me every time...
