I actually agree with you on this one. He's all over the place, can't be consistant, and quite frankly he sounds like a whiny bitch. No one cares about his crap unbringing or his **** mom, move on already. He's way better off than he thinks, and he contridicts himself by talking about killing Kim, then freaking re-marrying her, then divorcing her 3 months later. He needs to get a grip and get some new material.

50 Cent could not get anymore pathetic. The only reason he gets girls is his money and fame. He makes women out to be good for nothing but backdoor sex and serving men. Reality check.

Avril Lavigne, Pink, Prince

Avril Lavigne and Pink are annoying because their attitude and style of speaking suck, and terrible music also. Prince is annoying because some people actually respect him as a musician but the guy is a joke. Anyone who has used names like artist or symbol is a joke. Also artists who try to be sexy are annoying. If someone tries hard to be sexy they don't succeed in that, for example Usher and many other RNB artists.

The Zack Attack from Saved By The Bell were pretty horrible.

C'mon now, fictional bands can count too, a band is a band.

Nirvana. No musical talent, no vocal talent, just no damn talent! They only got famous 'cause Cobain became a martyr to dope head, losery pre-teens.

Yeah, because we all know Nirvana had NO popularity whatsoever before Cobain killed himself.

No talent?... Hmm, i know what your definition of talent is good sir, no fancy guitar or drum solos, no falseto vocals, no lyrics about Dungeons and Dragons and Middle Earth, my my, well i'll tell you what, maybe you should do a little research while listening to your vinyl Journey and Bad Company records before you spew such stupid incorrect garbage.

you know what i think was garbage.....nirvana!! :D i've never been that into them, i always thought they we're a bit over hyped as a grunge band and although it's not right to say they were given such fame because cobain snuffed it, i think it did contribute quite alot to the idolism he has from so many people today, not all, only the ignorant. i don't think they'd have been so over hyped if it wasn't for cobains death.

heart shaped box is a decent song, that's all i have to say.

But like i said before, they were ALREADY a very hyped band in 1991, which was (as i recall) 3 years prior to Cobains death, and of course they were still extremely popular up until when Cobain died... So weither or not they could have remained popular if Cobain was still alive or not is merely a matter of speculation... You dont go by speculation and then say crap like "and they only got famous because of this and that" because it only indicates that you are going by your personal bias and that you're only pretending to know what you are talking about.

I know Cobain bashers would like to think that Nevermind only sold millions of copies in it's first week of release because Cobain killed himself, but it dosent work that way, and it dosent take too much common sense to know that either.

You obviously don't know s**t about me. I'm not old enough for vinyl, Journey or Bad Company.

I won't deny that Nirvana got their play when they came out, but Moley said it well, they wouldn't get half the attention they do if he hadn't of blown his brains out. My lil' sister can sing like Cobain and I could play a guitar better than that crap with a frying pan. Hell, look at Pearl Jam or Alice In Chains or Soundgarden, they all earned massive props (without suicidal front men) just going on real talent.

Woo! Such controversy just stirs my nads!:finger:

boo boo 04-26-2006 10:18 AM

Alice In Chains didn't have a suicidal frontman?

And why do you have to bring guitar playing into this?.... Everybody who bashes' Nirvana has to bring up the guitar playing every time, like that really matters... You can play better than him you say?... I can too, but i don't brag about it, and it also dosent make me a better songwriter, or a good songwriter, and i assure you that you cannot play better than Cobain with a frying pan, which is a lame pun to make. Cobain was a good songwriter and he put his limited skills on guitar to good use... Yes Cobain was an average player, no one is comparing him to Steve Vai, what he played suited what he wrote.

Who's next?.... Lou Reed?... Bob Dylan?... John Lennon?...Elvis?...All we're average guitar players, they must suck.

Again i need to ask, how do you define real talent?

TrampInaTux 04-26-2006 10:29 AM

If you can pick up a guitar, knock out a tune that sounds good then you have a talent. A small talent, but a talent nonetheless. If you can pick up a guitar, knock out a tune and sell a million records then you have a big talent. A very big talent indeed. Doc when was the last time you brought out an album that sold thousands (maybe millions) worldwide?
