Kurt Cobain, the couple from Over the Rhine, Aarom Weiss from mewithoutYou, David Bazan (ex-Pedro the Lion) and whoever writes the lyrics for System of a Down.

In Brazil, I really enjoy Cazuza, Renato Russo and Humberto Gessinger, probably even more than english-speaking lyricists.

I can't listen to Tom Waits long enough to understand his lyrics because of his voice.
