I listened to it a few times and thought it was pretty spectacular. Though, my line for what I expect from them may be a bit lower than most seeing as I've never really been a HUGE fan. It's not that I don't like them, I just haven't taken the time to really dive into their music.

El Camino was released in Dec. 2011. One of my top 10 from 2011 tho. Now you have room to add Bob Dylan's Tempest to your list. ![]() |

I think it's highly inconsistent. There are 3-4 really great songs, 3-4 really awful songs, and the rest are mediocre. It's too bad because I really want to like it more (and I do enjoy it more than any Fleet Foxes stuff). Maybe he'll pull off a more solid one next time.

The good: Nancy From Now On **** Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings ***** O I Long to Feel Your Arms Around Me **** This Is Sally Hatchet **** The bad: Writing a Novel * Well, You Can Do It Without Me * Now I'm Learning to Love the War ** Tee Pees 1-12 * Everyman Needs a Companion ** The "just nice enough": Funtimes in Babylon *** Misty's Nightmares 1 & 2 *** Only Son of the Ladiesman ** Some of the songs could move from the bad category to the "just good enough" category if not for the awful lyrics.
