my fave is "Station to Station" - it's his most "Krautrock" influenced, and a big leap up from "Young Americans" (which I thought was a disaster) and before the overrated "Berlin trilogy" (which are all alright, but I don't have that high an esteem for them)
worst is probably the "Labyrinth" soundtrack - although he did only half of it, those few songs are inexcusable |

he oughtn't have tried sounding "black" yes, the Berlin trilogy is overrated for me, Low and Heroes had some good songs, and some good instrumentals, but had a number of filler as well Lodger is mostly a pile of crap except for "DJ" |
