Default Songs That Remind You of Your Loved One (Girlfriend/Boyfriend...Wife/Husband)

or even you're ex a song that you love to listen to because it has a special connection to that person you love..or maybe a song that you can't listen to because it reminds you of your ex or a time when you were hurt :/

Even though this is not your typical love song and is kind of strange this used to be me and my ex's song

Michael Jackson- Someone Put Your Hand Out - YouTube
Now this is the song that me & my girl both share (our future wedding song) which is perfect right?

Beach Boys - Wouldn't It Be Nice - YouTube

Thank you on behalf of those of us who have never been lucky enough to have been in love.

Still, there are songs that remind me of people I loved, even if it wasn't a relationship per se.

This is just a general song that always suggested to me the possibility of love, usually unrequited sadly (more glum icons)

These remind me of my best mate, passed away over 25 years ago now

And this song will always be special to me, a song which my dear departed mam would sing whenever the families got together.

Sorry to get all maudlin on ya, but these songs mean a lot to me.

I've dubbed the entirely of Lana Del Rey's Born to Die as "The Andy Album."

An ode to the one I could never have.

...damn it.

"I finally found someone" by Bryan Adams And Barbra Streisand. The songs remind me with my girl friend. I still remember her smile on the first date when the song is being played.

My wife and I started dating right around the time I first really got into Pet Sounds and that song always made me think of her. I especially related to it because we were living hundreds of miles apart at first.

Two other big ones that make me think of her...

"Wamlul' Umshado (Beautiful Wedding)"—Ladysmith Black Mambazo, which was the song we played as we walked down the aisle together at the end of our wedding:

"I Believe (When I Fall In Love)"—Stevie Wonder, our wedding song:

Default ColdPlay's the Scientist

The Scientist reminds of all the love I lost because I'm like a scientist. By that I mean I'm always looking for answers to the universe instead of looking for the one I love. The song completely speaks to me much like I am sure it speaks to many people

One of our shared loves, The Decemberists I think must be therefore the band that reminds us both of each other when mentioned *sigh*

It's so beautiful, and full of memories.
