In a bad mood day, you can see me crying to the following
Side Two of Lou Reed's Berlin, from "Caroline Says 2" to "Sad Song." The start off to a perfect side. Never lets up from there. I Heard this first around '86, and things changed quite a bit from there. "Hurt" - Johnny Cash version (Video already posted) It's a classic! "God" - John Lennon (Hell, most of Plastic Ono Band will do the trick) The best moment is when he goes on his "I don't believe in" list. "I Believe in You" - Talk Talk First got this when it was released. A couple of my friends were "he man" enough to ask WTF was I listening to. they'll catch up soon, though. The Spirit of Eden is a mighty fine album. "Porpoise Song" - Monkees Thank you, Goffin and King for this giant of beautiful Psychedelia, thank you Mickey and Davy for the classic vocals. "The Electrician" - Walker Brothers THE classic from Nite Flights. Broke me down on very sad day. Released a lot of emotion. "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" - Walker Brothers Yeah, I can go for something from Scott 4, but this is the one that brought me there. Hell, I'll add seven more later if you dig. Damn, there's still more to go. And, yes, I'm talking about whole songs. |
