Lists are never very good. I'll give credit for mentioning 500 albums, and I want to specifically clap at the inclusion of The End of the Innocence. That's an underrated pop-rock gem.

I dont see how illmatic is so much lower than kanye and jay z . It is the best hip hop albums of all time..

Can't believe that the biggest selling album in Australian history, by the only artist to have a #1 in each of FIVE decades, didn't get a mention - while no-hit wonders Echo and the Bunnymen got three. It's a Whispering Joke.

Such lists are foolish. We all argue all the time when such lists are dished up - depending upon our age, our bias, our geography, our history and much else. But they are an innocent form of fun.
