I debated with myself about whether or not I was going to post It's Choad My Dear. Solid album, that was. Woozy.

I just discovered these guys the other day... It's a Tori Kudo side project that involves him composing these catchy, intricate pop songs that are performed by musicians who just barely know how to play their instruments. There's quite a bit of atonality and dissonance, and the whole affair gives off this eerie yet naive vibe, but... once you get past all of this there is some really strong songwriting. You may even come to enjoy the "happy accidents" within the music and find them unique, authentic, and endearing (I know I do).

I sort of liken it to what Jean Debuffet was doing with his art... Anyways, just give it a listen and see what you think.
