I'm pretty sure CODA was a "Contractual Obligation" album. At the end of their reign with their record company who, like others, ripped off the Band. They were threatened with a Law suit if they didn't record. Hence CODA really was lacking in any sort of enthusiasm from the band.

Most people didn't stop with Zeppelin in 1975, they were just as popular up until their demise in 1980 after John Bonham's death.

I think such compilations are generally for those with a particular interest in the band who knows what it is they're getting Normally, I don't find such albums particularly good, but there are some exceptions like National Health's Missing Pieces which really contains some great tracks.

For me, In Through the Out Door is their least interesting album. When it came out, I thought it sounded too weak and watered down overall for a Led Zeppelin album and It's the only one I still don't bother listening to all these years later.
