Default Best Drum Machine and Synthesizer.

Looking for something where I can save my tracks to computer easily for use in Audacity, preferably SD card use, and step sequencing. Those two things are a must.

Not sure if there is a combo out there, or best to buy separately.

I was looking at this - Alesis SR18 Drum Machine with Effects Engine on amazon.

But it seems like it may not be so easy to get my tracks to my PC. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm also looking to eventually sell the music I create, so any info on doing something like that would be greatly appreciated. When I say sell, I don't know how much further I'd plan on going outside of trying to monetize it on youtube, but all info is appreciated.

Do you absolutely need an external hardware drum machine and synth, or could you utilize the same function as software?

I would have no problem with just software for my computer as long as it equals the sound quality and amount of sounds as something like the Alesis I mentioned.

Still curious if anyone has any info. Seems like a lot of intelligent people here, maybe just not on this specific subject? Maybe direct me to a better spot or site?

I mean, I can give up SD card if there is some way to get the tracks to my PC. I know there is, but seems it could be expensive and/or complicated?
